Green Ribbon Commission
IslandVision supports the Green Ribbon Commission (GRC), which is developing innovative ways to educate the community to encourage sustainable behaviors that will result in reducing our individual and the community’s carbon footprint. Initially the Green Ribbon Commission is focusing on transportation and home energy usage.
For more information see the Green Ribbon Commission website.
The GRC is supporting the Carbon Challenge between the city council and the school board, and as part of this, is developing advice related to reducing one's home energy and transportation related carbon footprint.
